is it possible to assign a "fixed" IP address to a virtual machine? I created a new VM for Oracle and i need to be shure that the IP doesn't change in the future. How can i assure that the IP address for a VM doesn't get changed by the Parallels DHCP server? THX in advance, Heribert
I think there are a number of way to do this; I am no expert. I do it by setting my Network Adapter to bridged to my my hosts adapter then set the desired static IP inside the guest VM. -Ed
If you wanna fix IP address in your virtual machine, then you have to configure in your DHCP server and fix the IP address with the MAC address. _______________ SakibS
