Does it happen only when you have the virtual machine window on an external display? Try moving it to the built-in display and share the results with us, please.

@MarcinK8: You might consider exploring alternative Color Profiles within the Display Settings.
I encountered a similar issue and found that adjusting the Color Profile was the solution that worked for me.

Hello, same problem here. In my case, it happens without an external screen, working in full-screen mode. To fix it, I stop the virtual machine, restart Parallels, and it resolves.

Perhaps connected with this issue: using take area snapshot in parallels tools, in OSX without VM, the Mac forms come translucent.
Probabily changed something in Sonoma?

Also this is happening in 14.1.1 (23B81) with an Intel Mac. When is this going to be fixed? It s nearly impossible to work.

No it hasn't...

Windows just updated to 24H2 and I have this problem.. My Windows VM is rendered useless!

I was working on project that I've got to bring to a close, and now this THIS?! I didn't anticipate this being an issue, at all. It starts to feel like this happens to me, every.. single... time...

An update shouldn't do this to a VM, I frankly expect more!

I am using a late 2019 Intel MacBook Pro connected to dual Dell U2520Ds via an OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock. There are NO color profiles it looks like so what do I do here?
Moving these windows makes it worse!
