    Hi,
I have installed CentOS 7 as my virtual machine. I am embarrassed to admit that I have forgotten my password. To be honest, I am not even sure of what my username is. I managed to interrupt the boot to get to grub and tried to set a new password. When I then boot-up the virtual machine, and I get the prompt for the password for CentOS 7, it will not accept the password that I entered in grub. At this point, I don't know what to try. I am thinking of removing the operating system from the Parallels Files drop down, using the option of saving the files. However, when I go to reinstall the operating system, does anybody know if I will still need to know the password or will I be able to reset it without knowing the old one.
I need to add the caveat, that while I am a somewhat experienced user of Linux, I am not very good at the system administrator level

    Hey.
I also lost my CentOS 7 password. Unfortunately, I couldn't set the data, I need to reinstall it again.
For some reason, such a function is empty there.
