Forum Spam!!

Hey,

what's up with this spam postings here? I constantly receive notification e-mails about new posts and all I see is spam spam and again spam! Perhaps you would better update this forum software or switch to a better one.

Where are the moderators? Please look at all recent postings and delete those junk postings and of course the appropriate users.

Check out Fassim Anti Forum Spam plug in for vbulletin. I tried all the captchas and a few other plug ins and they were either blocking to many legit members or just didn't work at all. Since I've installed fassim I'm down to like 2 users maybe a day that are spammers.. use to have over 50 easy.

It allows you to :

* Blocks known spammers via IP / Email.
* Block countries and regions from registering to your forum.
* Block anonymous proxies.
* Block Top Spamming Domains.
* Block Top Spamming ISP’s.
* Scan Posts and allow you to moderate the posts
