Hello I experience frequent freezes when using Windows 8. Often I'm not doing anything special for it to happen. When it does, it grinds my whole Macbook Pro to a halt and the only thing I can do is perform a hard reset. This has also occurred once when using Fedora Linux. One activity that is guaranteed to freeze Parallels is when using Acronis True Image 2012 to perform a backup of my Bootcamp partition to network. It will run for a few minutes then the whole virtual machine freezes completely. However, this does not cause a whole system freeze as described earlier, so I assume they are two different issues. Any ideas on how to fix this?
