Frequent 2X Client Disconnects

Hi

I have a customer who previously used Remote Desktop to connect to our server and they could leave their connections running from 9am-5pm without any disconnections. Now we are using 2X v10 but the 2X client disconnects and then re-connects several times during the work day. They are connecting and have always connected 3 workstations to our server using the same windows login. Now when 2X re-connects it sometimes re-connects to one of the other sessions instead of the one in use before the disconnection.

Any suggestions about how to stop the frequent disconnections and the re-connecting to the wrong sessions?

Hi there,

please open a ticket and provide the 2xServer support files.

(2xServer console -> Information -> enable logging and reproduce the issue 1-2 time -> Support -> send support request -> chose zip archive from drop down list).

You might check the log file before, perhaps it will point you already in the right direction.

You can also go to the load balancing screen. Check the box for "Reconnect to disconnected sessions". There are also some timeout settings on the configure button below that.
