Frozen on boot up screen

I have been using parallels on my MAC OSX version 10.7.5 with XP running fine up until this morning. It will not get beyond the resume windows screen just goes to 100% then freezes and just says resuming, is there anyway I can kick start the mac back to windows? thank you, in anticipation

Please try stopping the virtual machine and then reboot again, refer to this link. To terminate a frozen virtual machine refer to this link.
