Frustrating Windows

Hey All

We are running Parallels Beta 3, 3120 on our macbooks and macbook pros. We remap the my document folder to the parallel share folder. This is causing us a headache.

When you go to install software on the windows side, it says that the location //psf/user/documents can not be located, even though it is right there, in plain sight. So then we have to switch the my docs back to the user folder on the windows side, install the software, then switch it back to the //psf share.

Is there a fix?

i use Offline Folders and have remaped My Docs to a windows file server and see exactly the same thing. Clicking Retry a few times seems to let any installations continue unaffected. This also exists on my non parallels using users at work. I believe its an XP issue rather than a Parallels one.

Thanks for the info. I will try clicking retry and see if that gets us past this issue.
