Games play in small windows through Parallels

Every time I play a Steam game through Parallels desktop 6, the game runs in a small window. Or if I place the Guest OS (which is windows xp Home edition) in full screen mode, the game runs in a small square in the center of the of the screen with a black background. I have the latest build of Parallels, and the latest version of Snow Leopard (the host OS).

What do I need to configure to run games on the full screen of my 2009 macbook pro?
 
Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Full Screen -> Adjust Mac resolution in full screen.

View -> Full Screen.
