Parallels windows xp vm does not see the USB connected Garmin unit. Saw some posts that said they were able to use a cable adapter serial to USB to get Garmin to work, but iMac that I have has no serial port.....not sure how that would work for me.
If any one finds a way to update Mapsource and the Garmin Street Pilot from their parallels VM I'd appreciate a heads up! thanks in advance.
By the way that is the only PC software I have had trouble with. Camera works fine from the USB port.
