Guest/Host CPU Allocation

Hi, I just installed Parallels 6 on a MacBookPro i7 2.66 (quadcore), running a Win7 guest -- I'm wondering if it's better to allocate 2 processors to the VM guest, or have both host/guest sharing all 4?

If I allocate 2 processors to the VM guest, then are those dedicated? (i.e. host won't use them?)
