handling cd dvd when inserted

Hello, I have installed Parallels 5 and Win7 guest with host OS10.6. Great! except for one problem. When I insert a cd-dvd and I am looking at the Mac desktop or a Mac app with Win7 also open (in coherence view, typically), instead of the Mac preferences handling the disc, the disc "first goes to" Windows which starts to handle the disc. This is not what I want. Is there a preference or setting that will make Mac the default handler. (I don't wish want to remove the drive from Windows totally, unless that's the only way.)
 
At the bottom of the virtual machine is a set of icons that represent your VM's devices. These are the same devices you see in the Devices menu or in the Configure... -> Hardware window. In any of those 3 places, deselect the Connected option for the CD/DVD device. The CD/DVD device only needs to be Connected when you want the VM to use the CD/DVD device. Otherwise the Mac will use it.
