have 5.0,was thinking of upgrading but very concerned given all the troubles

i am on the fence as to whether to upgrade or not....if i was confident that it would be a no hassle affair without incident i would do so but i cannot afford to be without my windows on my mac so i am undecided and hoping to be convinced one way or another
