Having trouble accessing Ubuntu local web server from OS X 10.8 web browser

I have been using Ubuntu for a web development project. I am running OS X 10.8.1 and have recently upgraded to Parallels 8. I have port forwarding set up but it when I hit the IP address stated in Ubuntu's ifconfig command I am being routed to the OS X webserver instead. Any suggestions on what I should be looking for to make this work properly?

Fixed...

I used to be able to connect via Shared Networking, BUT since running the latest versions of OS X 10.8.1 and Parallels 8, I had to switch my Virtual Machines Network setting to a Bridged Network and then select the appropriate network device (airport in my case). Then when I ran ifconfig in Ubuntu it gave me a proper IP address assigned by my wireless access point just like all the other network devices. (see the screenshot for the examples).

Best of luck,
Tony
