hdd file corruption

It looks like ".hdd is corrupt" is a huge problem. I think I've read all posts regarding this matter but I still can't find a clear cut solution. KB 459 is of no use, my current .xml file contains only the following and I quote.

"sometime i'll remove this warn and just set the PID here"

If KB 459 does not work whats the next step?

If this is such a problem where is the fix?

Any help would be great.

Thanx

windows blue screen on boot

says image possibly corrupt - but flashes sooooo fast i cannot give full messge.

then cycles and tries rebooting - round and round we go.

I don't mind re-installing and resetting up - But i urgently need a couple of files out of the hdd file.

I see referals to Replace oleaut32.dll in repair console - does anyone know exactly how to do this?
