I am running windows 10 on a macbook pro with osx 10.11.1, using parallels 11. Very definitely in the time since I installed parallels, though I didn't notice immediately because i don't use the headphone socket very often, the headphone socket has stopped working. i tried the control / alt / p / v reset that apple told me to do (even if that isn't the exact shortcut it was something similar), didn't fix it. i hear no sound coming out of the socket in osx or in windows. I don't know when it stopped working exactly, the computer is new and it was working when i first got it.

Hi Daniel8, if the headphone socket is not working on the Mac side too then you'll have to get it checked with Apple support. Once its up on the Mac side and still not working on the Windows 10 side then we can troubleshoot the issue.
