Help! Need to get parallels running so I can do Payroll!

Hi Guys, I've got limited tech knowledge and I'm feeling totally underwater here. I followed the steps for downloading parallels, and then windows 10 and then installing windows 10 When I go to open Parallels I get a black screen with code writing on it . Has something not activated? Did I do something wrong?

Hello Katreena, please try below steps and keep us posted:
1. Stop your virtual machine (in Mac menu choose Actions > Stop).
2. Open your virtual machine's configuration > Hardware > Boot Order > Advanced Settings > Put a check mark on or enable Use EFI Boot option.
