Help PD 12 does not start!

I have used Parallel Desktop 12 for a very long time without issues. Now, when I try to use it, it loads for a while (see image attached) and then it blocks. This sudden problem has made it impossible to use.

I add an important detail. I have recently changed my internet connection provider with a new super-fast line. Now all Mac apps (such as Safari and App Store) do not work anymore as if they did not connect to the line while chrome, for instance works perfectly. Now, if I try to launch PD with the WI FI connection, it blocks, while if I am connected using a LAN cable it works perfectly.... this is a mystery.

I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with the most recent version of OS Sierra (10.12.3). I am using the most recent version of Parallel Desktop 12. I have not found a recent post discussing a similar problem. Thank you!

 

try to uninstall and re-install PD. it works for me

 

Check the DNS settings on your computer. It may be that your DNS are set to your old provider's servers.
