Help with CAD and Parallels

Bit poster
I use CREO as my design tool of choice although which application I use is almost irrelevant. My issue is that when I try to use the middle button on my mouse the "Spotlight" Search window for OSX always pops up instead making it difficult to work with my CAD application.
How do I get rid of or at least isolate my windows applications from preset OSX mouse features?
Any advice is gladly accepted. This is not an issue in bootcamp only parallels.
