Help with upgrade / UI issues...

Aloha,

I am a non-technical guy here who has parallels running Win XP Professional on Snowleopard. All the latest updates etc.

I have encountered two challenges with new install that I can't seem to locate in the DB / forum. It is probably something simple, but I'd love some feedback / help if anyone can provide it:

- I use 2 screens, one in windows (monitor connected to the Macbook Pro) and one on Mac. There seems to be a new feature which forces me to use control option to escape the Windows screen. Why? Can I turn it off?
- More importantly, the size of my "windows" screen is now limited. I have a large monitor and it is important for me to view it on a larger screen, but for some reason, this is now limited as well. It seems like I am very limited in modes as well. I can't seem to toggle into coherence mode.

Has anyone else experienced these changes? I think these are simply settings, but I have not been able to find them...

I apologize in advance for my lack of technological prowess...

Did you install Parallels Tools? Go to Virtual Machine menu -> Reinstall Parallels Tools.

Also check Configure... -> Hardware -> Video -> Video memory. More memory means higher resolution.

I don't know how well Parallels works with multiple screens.
