I have three computers in my house with different software application but all using XP.

If I wanted two of the computers to use software from one of the computers which of the 2x applications would I need to install on the two wishing to connect to the main one and what 2x application would I need to install on the main one?

2X ApplicationServer is not supported for XP.
You need Server OS to host the 2X ApplicationServer.

The XPs can be used as clients to access the server.
