Hide menu icon is not working properly

So I set up hide menu icon to make few icons visible as you can see at the bottom visible row, only to fail to function, not showing. It's supposed to show clock icons when the tool is active.
I've tried to get rid of the app and installed, only to fail. What's going on?

I've been having some problems with that widget too. Apps 'jump' from hidden row to visible row sometimes. Especially Apple apps like AirPlay or Time Machine.
But what annoys me most is that Spotlight Search keeps disappearing while I type my search (sometimes I have to try 3 times to use it). I narrowed it down to Parallels 'Hide Menu Icons' widget. As soon as I turn it off Spotlight returns to behaving normally.
