Hi,
I'm running Windows XP in PD on a MacBook Pro with a 30" external monitor. Most applications seem to perform pretty well, considering the large monitor, which even OS X is a big sluggish with. However, when using Visual Studio (v 2003 in this case), operations as simple as repeatedly typing spaces in the editor cause the WindowServer process in OS X to hover around 70-90% CPU. At the same time, Task Manager in Windows shows around 97% idle. This problem seems to vanish if I'm not using the external monitor.
I'd greatly appreciate any information that may explain this or help.
thanks,
Jeremy
