High CPU usage in host when guest is idle

Hi,

I'm running Parallels Desktop 10.1.4 on Yosemite. I have a Windows 8.1 guest O/S.

Even when the guest O/S is idle (near 0% CPU usage), the host machine is reporting high CPU usage (45-50%) for a process called Mike (Windows 8). Mike is the name of the guest machine.

Why would this be? I've had a look through the knowledge base but nothing seemed applicable to this particular scenario.

Hi Gauche,
Please update Parallels Desktop to latest build as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/111603 , follow the steps at http://kb.parallels.com/112764 to troubleshoot the issue and check if the issue still persisting.
