Hissing/popping/static sounds in audio

Hi,

I'm using Parallels (10.3.0) on MacOS El Capitan with a guest OS of Windows 10. All this running on a new 2015 MacBook. Whenever I play back a video (eg - YouTube), there's a lot of static (hissing/popping) and other kinds of audio disturbances. Can someone help me clear this up?
