Host only adapter disappeared with GA update

When I installed the GA update, my host-only adapter (en2) disappeared. Any suggestions on how to get it back?

For some reason, in my case, it took two reboots for the adapter to get loaded up with an address in the preference pane. It was loaded the first time, but it was "red" without a network address until the machine was rebooted again. Since then it was fine (although I personally turn it off since I am not using it).
