How can I find and install the right version for my Parallels licence?

I have Parallels installed and working on my iMac using a permanent licence. I'm testing an M2 MacBook Pro and wanted to see Parallels in action on the new machine. The installation process loaded a newer version of Parallels than my licence allows. How can I find out what the right version is and then, how can I replace Parallels 18 with that version?
