I tried to move my Parallels Desktop v10 license to my new mac.
Restarting PD did not make PD accepting the old license.
    prlsrvctl activate-license-online
ended up with "Unable to confirm the product license. You have reached the maximum number of activations..."
    prlsrvctl deactivate-license
on my old mac yielded "Failed to deactivate the license: This product could not be activated because your activation key is invalid. Make sure you typed the key correctly or contact the Parallels support team for assistance."

How can I transfer the license to the new Mac?

    Hi Qiaoc,

Unfortunately Parallels 10 doesn't work on Newer Macs. El Capitan is the last OS it will work on. El Capitan was introduced by Apple in 2008 and replaced by Sierra in 2016. So if your new Mac is running any os higher than El CapitanYour version of Parallels will not work. If for some reason you are running an older version of a Mac OS on a newer machine follow these instructions : https://kb.parallels.com/en/123461

    Hi Ajith,

    Thanks for your reply.
My old Mac can't start up now due to the issue of the mainboard.
My new Mac is currently running the 10.11 El Capitan, so could you please deactivate the license on my old Mac?

    Thanks for your help.

  5. Hi, we've reset your key, please check the activation issue.
