How do I downgrade from Windows 11 Pro?

I have been using Windows 10 Home in my Mac desktop. Upon transferring my Parallels Desktop license to my laptop with a Apple M2 chip, I was prompted to download Windows 11. After installation was complete, I found that the edition installed is Windows 11 Pro which needs activation.
I will happily pay to use the Windows 11 Home edition, but not the more expensive Pro edition. I read that Windows 10 can no longer run on my laptop with a M-series chip.
What can I do?
