How Long Should It Take For a First Time Setup?

My MacBook has been sitting on this screen for over an hour.

Seems to have done it a second time. Started at 5:20p Stilling running on screen displayed in root Thread at 6:40p. What's the navigation trick?

I'm not installing from a USB but I'll try to move my ISO and try it.

Hi DaveH6,
Apologize for the misunderstanding. Try following steps outlined at this link but uncheck " Express installation" from step 4 to continue installation. Let us know how it goes.
