Suddenly I do have a problem booting Windows 10. I get a black screen. I am using Desktop Version 15 on an iMac 2012 with MacOS 10.13.6 I think my problem is related to that issue described on that link: https://www.parallels.com/de/blogs/so-behebst-du-einen-schwarzen-bildschirm-unter-windows/ ( this is how you fix a black screen) On this page two scenarios are described. Both solutions do not work for me. Scenario 1 - I can not access the Task Manager. Scenario 2 - I can not enter the safe mode As the described solution is from 2015: does it still work in 2020 ? Thanks, regards, Manfred
Hello, sorry for the delay in response. Could you please test the same behavior with Parallels Desktop 16 (during 14 days trial period) and let us know how does it work.
I have the same problem as the original poster. I get a black screen when trying to start Parallels. I can do Ctrl-Alt-Del to get popup and try to run Task Manager, but then it goes back to the black screen (no task manager appears). I cannot figure out how to boot to Safe Mode to try the other fixes. I am running Parallels 16 Version 16.1.1 (49141) (I had the black screen problem before, and hoped upgraded would help. it did not) with Windows 10 inside, on a MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.15.7. I have tried to Reset Windows but that did not change anything. Please help!
