How to forward a port to Windows on Mac?

Greetings,

My router is assigning a 192.168.1.x to my Mac.

Windows in Parallels has a 10.211.55.x address. Where is is getting that?

How do I forward a port to Windows?

Hello CosmicV,

Your Windows might be in Shared network. change it to Bridged network > Default adapter from VM configure (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) > Hardware > Network 1. After changing the network type to Bridged, check the IP address on both Mac and Windows VM, it will be the same.

For port forwarding in Parallels Desktop,

Open Parallels Desktop in the menu bar> Preferences > Advanced > Change settings > Choose Shared tab
