How to install softwares on a shared drive

Hi
I have shared a partition from mac to windows in parallels. However i am unable to install some windows softwares on that partition since that partition letter does not show up as an installation path during installation process. Please help.

@arron Please provide us the application you are trying to install. Also let us know the drive you created and the exact location so that we can check further.

The partition SM on Mac is the one i want to install the software on. The app is a small windows program.
