How to install Windows 7 from downloaded purchase???

I bought Windows 7 from the Microsoft store and downloaded it to my Mac, so I don't have a CD/DVD copy of the OS. What downloaded from Microsoft is 4 files:

Windows7_Home_Premium_64bit.exe
setup1.box
setup1.box.part
setup2.box

I just installed Parallels 6. It is walking me through the setup process but, when creating a new virtual machine, it tells me

There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine. Please insert an operating system installation CD into the optical drive of your Mac and restart the virtual machine.

I don't have a CD, only the files Microsoft sent me. How do I install Windows 7 from my downloaded files into Parallels?
 
If you have a home PC, put those files on a flash drive and run them - the ISO will be created for you.

I'm not sure of any way to turn those into a functional ISO w/o having a Windows/PC in the first place.. but I'll send you a link to directly download the 64bit Home Premium ISO (which you can burn) directly from Microsoft/Digital River.
 
Thanks Patrick but what you are saying is a little over my head! I have been a Mac guy my entire life so I don't have a PC and I don't know what an ISO is. When you send me the link, can I do the download to my Mac and burn the files from my Mac? Thank you again!
 
I am having the same problem. I get the message

I don't understand why this is happening, seems like it should work without any problems. Can you send me the site where I can download what I need to get it working.
 
I have now downloaded a version of Windows 7 called Windows7_Home_Premium_ISO_64bit.iso. There is a second file called bootsect.exe. Both have been downloaded to my Mac. Is there some way for me to load these into Parallels?
 
File -> New -> Choose an image file -> select the .iso -> etc.

Windows will automatically be installed to a new virtual machine.
 
The ISO file worked perfectly. When given options of file types for Windows 7, you have to download the ISO file to lead into Parallels.
 
What if you don't see a .iso file?

All i have for an image file is .hdd
I put what I downloaded on a USB and then tried installing, nada!
Basic question is can I even install an upgrade to Win 7 from XP (which is what I downloaded). parallels seems to indicate that you can?

Where did you get the .hdd file from? Did you try using it as a Hard Disk device in the virtual machine configuration? Can you change the extension to .img and mount it in the Finder?

Parallels has a utility for migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 but it's not for virtual machines.
