How to reinstall Parallels Dektop after reformatting Mac OSX with having parallels CD

Hi There,

I am about to reinstall OSX and no longer have the Parallels Desktop Installation CD to install it with. I have copied the app file itself onto the external harddrive as part of a complete backup.

According to the 'about' feature, the version is Parallels Desktop 1848.2 2006

Is there a way to reinstall Parallels without the software installation CD after reformatting my computer? Is there a download or can I just copy the app file over from my backup and use the same product key?

I haven't yet registered my product online.

When I go to do so now, it says "Please check that you entered you activation key number correctly."

I have rechecked a number of times, it does not seem to work.
It is in the form:
00006-3221******-****

Any pointers?
