how to start parallels

i installed this weeks ago and have forgotten how to open it. the manual says to go to applications in mac. my mac does not include parallels in its applications. as far as i can tell there is no instruction anywhere on this most elementary issue. it's like problem #1, how to start, yet there is no instruction. please help, someone.
oh yes, and i chose the option of automatically starting the computer in mac. so now what?
 
right, i cannot see parallels folder/there isn't one

i know that for boot camp you turn off your computer and start it back up holding a key. i assume that is true for parallels as well but what is the magic key? or where is it written in the instructions?
