How to stop Windows desktop icons from showing on my MAC

Hi,

I want to stop desktop icons from showing on my MAC, but I want to keep file sharing (copy/paste) enabled. How do I do this? If it matters, this is Parallels 13.

Hi StaceyL. Please shut Windows down, open the virtual machine configuration window, navigate to Options -> Sharing -> Share Mac -> Configure. In the screen that appears, disable the option 'Desktop'.
