HOW TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL PARALLELS 12 ON MAC

I am relatively new to the Mac having used Windows before.
I have been advised to uninstall Parallels12 and reinstall from the desktop. Can someone advise exactly what to do in step by step fashion. I have Finder, Launchpad, system preferences and Apps tore icons on my bottom row.

I am concerned that when I uninstall Parallels 12 ( when I find out how t do it) , i will have lost the programme to reinstall.

I am running Mac Sierra with Windows 7 on my Parallels12 (I did have coherence issues, and was advised to delete the display driver, but now I have low resolution VGA windows screen, and cannot reinstall the Parallels driver nor Parallels from Windows VM)

Try first reinstall Parallels Tools inside your Windows: select window of virtual machine and in application menu bar press Actions -> Reinstall Parallels Tools.

I was recommended to delete the Visual adapter and it therefore downgraded to VGA afterwards. This limited view does not allow me to call up the applications menu.
