How to update OS inside VM?

    I have a vM of macOS Mountain Lion running in Parallels. Is it possible to 'upgrade' the OS in the image, say to Mavericks or Yosemite?

    I've tried searching, but I get a lot of noise about updating Parallels itself.

    Answering my own question: yes, I just ran the installer from inside, and the whole thing worked as expected.
