how to use a copy protected CD/DVD in WinXP?

I bought myself a programme (for WinXP) yesterday but it seems I do not get passed the copyright protection (even though it is a legally acquired programme). After searching I found that Parallels acknowledges this problem (http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/faq/4/#4-7). Does anybody have any suggestions how to get around it? I tried using Daemon Tools 3.4.7, but no luck there

I am wondering if I made the ISO using the wrong program (any suggestions?) perhaps or is Daemon Tools unable evade all copy protections?
