How to use Apple USB Extended keyboard's numerical keypad?

Maybe I'm just daft but I can't find any settings which would allow me to use the numerical keypad on Apple's USB Extended keyboard. As there's no "Num lock' I can't seem to force the user in the keypard - trying to enter a number has unexpected results.

Any clues or solutions?

Hi Clinton,

Please try using the Clear key on the numeric side. Should be above the 7 key.

That should help in using numeric keys on the keyboard.
