I bought parallels 12 but I have Macos 10.9.5

Hello,
I haven't check if parallels 12 was macos 10.9.5 compatible before I bought it, and it seems that it is not
Can I use parallels 11 (which is compatible with MacOs 10.9.5) with this purchase for now until I'll upgrade my macos ..?
I bought parallels product to try to play some games that are not available on the macos system.
I don't plan to upgrade my system (Mac) anytime soon for different reasons.

Unfortunately, Parallels Desktop 12 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.10.5 and later only.
Parallels Desktop 12 system requirements.
Parallels Online Store only offers the latest version of Parallels Desktop.
If you would like to buy any of the previous versions, please check if it is offered by your local resellers or authorized online resellers like Apple, Amazon etc.
Please let us know have you purchased from http://www.parallels.com/ website or any reseller?
