I tried to upgrade my Windows 11 virtual machine to Windows 24H2, and it crashed.

Hi, I have an iMac late 2013 running Catalina.
For a long time I have been successfully using Parallels 17 and Windows 11 to use my preferred vector graphics design program.
Sadly, yesterday I tried to upgrade my Windows 11 virtual machine to Windows 24H2, and it crashed.
Windows kept trying to repair itself but it cold not do it.
I tried to delete all my Parallels and Windows elements, in order to reinstall Parallels 17.
I am able to reinstall Parallels from the old DMG that I had kept safe.
Unfortunately I can't install Parallels without it automatically finding the faulty Windows files, which I have tried to delete, but obviously failed to do so.
I just want to reinstall Parallels 17 and Windows 11 again.
I do a full shutdown in between stages but it doesn't help.
Please can you advise.
