    hello!
I have a question while using Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac.

I'm trying to install Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 11 on my MacBook Pro 14 (M3 Pro), but an error occurs during installation.

An error occurred while starting acmboos.exe.

Is there a way to install it or is there an improvement update possible in the future?

Yes, that works. You just have to deactivate the database drivers in the setup. Then it will run without errors.
If not, then just look for a guide "Install Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 11". It is no different from an Intel version, VM etc.

Updates for Visual Basic have not been available for a long time, but you can update the OS without any problems.

The issue with installing Visual Basic 6.0 in Parallels Desktop 19 on Windows 11 may be caused by compatibility issues, particularly with the older version of VB6. To resolve the error related to "acmboos.exe," try running the installer in compatibility mode or ensuring all updates for Parallels and Windows are installed. Additionally, you may need to check if any system settings, like virtualization support, are causing conflicts. Keep an eye on Parallels updates as they may improve compatibility in future releases.

You can install Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 11 by running the installer in compatibility mode (Windows XP/7) and as an administrator. It's outdated, so expect some issues, but it should work!
