Identical VM runs fine on macbook, super slow on iMac

I have a windows XP VM on my iMac that just started running slow today with no system changes. I am running Mavericks and latest version of Parallels. I have an identical VM on a Macbook that I loaded on my iMac. It runs slow on my iMac but fine on my macbook. I tried an earlier snapshot on my iMac. I tried older VM's that I have as backup. They all run slow on my iMac and fine on my Macbook. I uninstalled Parallels and reinstalled it but that did not help.

Any ideas on how to debug? I have plenty of memory allocated to the VM on my iMac. OSX works fine and no slow downs there.

Again, any ideas?
