If Apple start using ARM processors in Macs, will they still run Windows under Parallels?

I refer you to the PPC to Intel transition --- Rosetta allowed PPC apps on Intel for a couple of releases. Worked pretty well.
But in reality --- who knows?
I imagine Parallels will run whatever architecture the raw metal is ... thats how virtualization works.
ARM can run VM hypervisors so again who knows.
 
Thanks. I think maybe I was confusing Windows running on Macs as bootable operating systems, as opposed to VMs.

I still rather hope they choose to remain with Intel for a bit.
 
Hmmm ... run on an architecture that grew like topsy and originated in an 8 bit machine vs a well thought out rational instruction set (as well as being the most widely used architecture on the planet. I vote for ARM.
