@AJ: Thanks your prompt reply, the recommendation "nested" should be possible but adds another "level of complexity" to my environment. Is there any other straight option to convert hyper-v vms to parallel?

May I know the format of the VM which you are trying to convert to Parallels VM?

As stated, an Hyper-V VM (Based on MS Server 2012 Hyper-V).
Diskfile is VHD, Machine is XML both generated from an Export using Hyper-V

Thanks your hint, tried but failed see attached screenshot. I have searched for the (in the error-message) recommended "prl_convert utility" but could not trace it on my Mac.

Hi @UweF3 , Please follow steps in the KB article to convert your vmware virtual machine to Parallels Desktop virtual machine.
