Importing vmware machine

Hello,

I installed Win 7 Ultimate via vmware and would like to know if I import it into Parallels 9 will Windows make me buy another copy because of activation reasons?
 
I too am looking for the same answer, but put differently: I just want to take my current VMWARES (win 7, 8, 8.1) and port them to work in PD 9. Is it possible? If so, I would upgrade :)
