In Microsoft Office apps, unable to change default local file location from Desktop to Dropbox

For Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, I'd like to change the default local file location from "\\Mac\Home\Desktop" to "\\Mac\Home\Dropbox".

When I try to do this, however, I get the attached error message.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi. I'm not sure this article addresses my issue. I'm able to access \\Mac\Home\Desktop. Rather, it's \\Mac\Home\Dropbox that I'm unable to access.
