If you use the lastest beta ther is a preference under keyboard: Translate Num Enter to Alt Gr. Select that and then you can use the enter key (just right of the right command key on the MacBook keyboard). And then you can use Alt Gr the same as with a windows keyboard - you have to know where the special key is located.

I use the danish keyboard layout as better for accents double strike ¨^ ´` and some special characters Øø Ææ Åå
